Key Fob Policy
Door fobs are issued by the Secretaries of the Ladies Auxiliary and the Aerie. If you need one, next time you are in the club, let the bartender know and she will let the Secretary know.
If you lost your fob, there is a $20.00 replacement fee. Pay the bartender and they will notify the Secretary and your new door fob will be issued and kept behind the bar for you. If your fob is damaged, bring it to the club and leave it with the bartender. They will notify the Secretary and your will be issued a new fob free of charge. It will be kept behind the bar for you. |

Financial Status of Aerie - Members desiring to find out how well the Aerie is doing financially can attend the Aerie meetings on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. Daily Aerie functions and monthly/annual financial reports are handled by the Trustees. The Trustees meet on Wednesday’s at 6:00 pm. Belleville Food Closet Collections - In 2015, The Aerie became a collection point in order to help the Belleville Emergency Food Closet, which operates out of the First United Methodist Church in Belleville. The need for food assistance in our area continues to grow. Assistance is only provided to individuals and families who have a documented and verifiable emergency need, and the food closet works closely with the Salvation Army, Community Care Services, and other local agencies. The Food Closet receives grant funding to purchase some of the food, but over the past few years that funding has diminished and they've had to rely more and more on community support. That's where we can help. A collection box will be in the hall and each month we will notify members what the food closet needs (no glass jars, please). The box will be monitored by Jim Wagner, Aerie Chaplain, who graciously offered to collect our donations and transport them to the Food Closet. We know our Eagle members are generous and giving, so please, when you're grocery shopping for your family, consider picking up a couple extra cans of food for those in need in our area. Thank you. |

If you have submissions for the next month's newsletter send them to the above email in care of Connie Fink(editor) by the 18th of the current month. After much discussion and thought, we decided it was necessary to make changes to the newsletter. Printing and postage are expensive (and postage continues to rise) and we really feel the thousands of dollars we spend on the newsletter each year could be put to better use elsewhere. In light of this decision a new policy went into effect starting in January 2016. Members now choose one of the following options if they wish to continue to receive the newsletter:
