The Van Buren Eagles #3996 is a friendly place to visit and we encourage anyone interested to stop by and ring the bell. Someone will assist you and take you on a tour. If you enjoy karaoke, making friends, special functions, Friday night dinners out and helping other people, we are the place for you.
Our motto is "People Helping People". We work to better our community by raising money for charities such as autism, childhood leukemia, and Mott’s Children’s Hospital.
We invite you to visit us and attend an event. Our members are more than happy to answer any questions you may have about the Eagles and how you can join. There are Eagles all over the United States and once you are a member here you can visit any of the other Aeries.
The F.O.E. was founded in February, 1898 by six theatre owners gathered in a Seattle shipyard to discuss a musician's strike. After addressing the matter, they agreed to "bury the hatchet" and form "The Order of Good Things." As numbers grew, members selected the Bald Eagle as the official emblem and changed the name to "The Fraternal Order of Eagles." The Fraternal Order of Eagles includes nearly 800,000 members and more than 1,500 locations across the United States and Canada.
The perks of being an Eagle member are countless. From lifelong friendships to care for your family, Eagles are always ready to lend a helping hand and be a guiding influence in the lives of every member. A renewed focus on both membership growth and retention is leading to the development of a stronger and more prominent slate of benefits. Those Who Serve
The Fraternal Order of Eagles stands strong behind the men and women who serve and protect us. To show our gratitude, we've created the Those Who Serve program, offering one (1) complementary year of membership to active and retired Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters, Emergency Medical Technicians, Correctional Officers, Active Military including National Guard and Reserves, Volunteer Firefighters and EMTs and Honorably Discharged/Retired/Inactive Military.
