Our REAC group wasn't going to let the lousy February weather keep them home recently. They met at the Corner Brewery in Ypsilanti for their monthly outing where they started off with lunch and camaraderie, and afterwards a few of them went over to the Ypsilanti Historical Museum. What better way to bring some sunshine into a dismal winter day?! Check out the pictures from their outing and see what you missed.

Our REAC members recently enjoyed a lunch outing to MAIZ Mexican Cantina in Ypsilanti. Retirement has its perks! Check out the pictures from their afternoon. Our R.E.A.C. (Retired Eagles Activity Club) kicked off the holiday season at their recent Christmas party. There was a delicious buffet that included a beautifully decorated cake, but there was also an abundance of Christmas spirit in the air. Our R.E.A.C. members always have fun together no matter where they are or what they're doing. Merry Christmas to all of them! Our Retired Eagles Activity Club recently took advantage of a beautiful autumn afternoon to enjoy lunch out and a visit to the orchard. They started at the Zukey Lake Tavern in Pinckney where they had lunch, and then they headed over to Plymouth Orchards. Check out the apple pie! It's looks delicious. If you're a retired Eagle member and looking for some fun, R.E.A.C. welcomes you. They're a friendly group of people and they enjoy monthly outings to various locations. They meet the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm to plan their activities. Come join them for friendship and fun! Our REAC group headed south for their September outing, starting out with lunch at the Little Brown Jug in Maybee, MI. Then they headed to Calder's Dairy for ice cream. Yum! The perfect way to end a fun afternoon. Enjoy the pictures! R.E.A.C.'s August outing was a fun day filled with friendship, food and a boat tour on the Detroit River. The day started with lunch at the Wyandotte American Legion. After lunch, the group went on a Diamond Jack River Tour. The River Tour boat ride was a two hour narrated tour on the Detroit River featuring many sights along the way. It was a fun day for all! R.E.A.C. went on a Pub Crawl for their July outing on Tuesday, July 17, 2018. They started at the Bayou Grill for lunch, then Egan's Pub, next Johnny's on the Lake, and finished up at the Lakeview. A fun time was had by all! R.E.A.C. meets the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. They plan a fun outing once a month. They welcome new members, so join them at one of their meetings or outings to see what they are all about! Our REAC group is not wasting any time enjoying summer. In early June, they had a cookout in our pavilion. They provided the hotdogs and paper goods, and everyone else brought a dish to pass. No one went home hungry! At the end of June, they headed south to watch the Toledo Mud Hens play Indianapolis at the Fifth Third Field. Baseball and cookouts! It doesn't get much better than that. Enjoy a few pictures from their outings. If you're retired and like to have fun, consider joining our REAC group. They meet the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm to plan their outings. They'd be happy to have you join them. Our REAC group kicked off the holiday season with their Christmas dinner on December 5, 2017, and comments from their members declared it, "The nicest dinner we've ever had." It was so nice because this group is caring and loving. Nancy Fruit willingly offered to prepare the yummy dinner, and Pam Hixon made all the delicious appetizers. Everyone enjoyed the spirit of the holiday and the camaraderie they shared with one another. If you're retired and haven't joined our REAC group, you're missing out on the fun. Check them out; they meet the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm. They'd love to have you join them. Thank you, Sue DeLongchamp, for snapping the photos, great job!
